Reiki is a holistic Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that intentionally channels life force energy.Â
I discovered the gift of Reiki on my own healing journey and was initiated as a Master Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho method of this energy modality in 2018.
Reiki can harmonize the flow of your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual energy so you can better navigate the constant fluctuations of the world around you.
Reiki benefits all levels of your being, promoting an encompassing state of peace.
Reiki can strengthen your immune system to improve and maintain health.
Complementary to traditional medicine, it can reduce pain and symptoms of illnesses, help you sleep better and speed recovery times. It can uplift mood and create a sense of peace and calm.
Reiki is intentionally channeled through the palms of a practitioner’s hands to the energy centers of the body (chakras) to release blockages and regulate flow. It can also be applied to specific areas of the body for physical or emotional healing.
Reiki can be channeled while physically present with a client or distantly during a Zoom session.
What to expect with Reiki
As you are receiving Reiki, you may feel heat, coolness or tingling as the energy is channeled to you and shifts in your body. You may also see colors or images. Or you may simply feel relaxed or even fall asleep!
After Reiki, you may feel lighter, in less pain, more energized and relaxed. You may feel the effects for some time or you may not feel much at all. This doesn’t mean it’s not working. Reiki is always beneficial if you’re open to receive it.
